Ski Season Sangria

Our Ski Season Sangria is sure to delight your palate on these active winter days. The classic chilly-day flavors of orange, cranberry, and our favorite spices pair beautifully with red wine and ginger ale for a spectacular beverage. Add rum or brandy for an added kick!

Happy DSM Fall Sangria Recipe

  • ·       1 bottle of Sangria Mixer
  • ·       1 bottle Red Wine (I used a Spanish Red)  
  • ·       1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • ·       1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons apple brandy: OPTIONAL
  • ·       1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons pear brandy: OPTIONAL
    **You can use regular brandy in place of these flavored varieties. 
  • ·       2  cinnamon sticks
  • ·       1 small Gala or Fuji apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • ·       1 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • ·       1 small red pear, cored and thinly sliced
  • ·       1 small green pear, cored and thinly sliced 1
  • ·       1/2 orange, thinly sliced and each sliced halved Ice, to serve (optional)

Directions: Combine the mixer, wine, apple cider, apple brandy, pear brandy, and fruits in a large container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to 72 hours. Transfer to a pitcher before serving. Serve over ice.
